Commission an illustration for Christmas!

Would you like to commission a unique illustration as an original Christmas present idea? Illustrated family portraits by your home, village or favourite location. Or perhaps a portrait of your dog in their cherished chair or on a best loved walk?

Usually a client will give me details of what they would like included and supply me with photographs. I then work on sketches to get the best composition. When the sketch is approved I work on adding colour and work with you until you're happy to sign off the design.

Once the illustration is finished, clients can choose to order additional cards and prints of their painting for family and friends.

Family Portrait Prices from £160 for an original, busy illustration (to fit in an A4 frame) supplied as a high quality jpeg. Print / frame costs from £25.

Pet / House Portraits from £85 for an illustration (to fit in an A4 or 300 mm square frame) supplied as a high quality jpeg. Print / frame costs from £25.

Painting of a lake in the South of France

Original painting by Chloe Robertson. Landscape view of the lake at Etang Du Camp, near Conques in the South of France. Painted in acrylic on exhibition quality handmade canvas with hanger.

Expressionist painting using colour and mark making to capture the feeling of connection with the landscape.

I love this part of France - there's a real difference in the landscapes and skies from the South Downs. Subtle metallic highlights and silver leaf add catch the light on occasion.

Size: 45 x 60 cm 3.6 cm deep

Welcome to view / collect. Available to purchase from the paperhello shop

Raining Umbrella Project for Charity Event

I was recently delighted to be asked to collaborate in a charity art event. Fork Handles Kitchen in Petersfield had the brilliantly original idea of asking local children and artists to paint / decorate an umbrella in this community event. All umbrellas will be auctioned off on the 30th September to raise funds for local charity. Every penny raised will go to charity.

Titled raining colour, my design is an extension of my painting work. My paintings use colour an texture to express feeling and connection to the subject. I really loved every minute of painting my umbrella - I will miss it! I'm sure it will go to a good home though :-) Happy bidding
